Funnel

Boost Funnel helps you understand the conversion and drop-off rate of users. By analyzing the funnel, users can make informed decisions to optimize the website’s user experience and achieve better conversion rates.

The report works by displaying the counts of users that reach each URL or event and the drop off rate from the previous step. The funnel uses specific order criteria, which requires step completion in a required order. The user may navigate to other URLs or events in between the funnel steps, but must complete the funnel steps in order to be counted as a conversion.

Parameters

• Website : (required) The website you want to run the report on.
• Date range: (required) The date range of the report.
• Window: (required) Amount of minutes a user has between funnel steps to be counted as a conversion.
• Steps: (required) Sequential step conditions used in the funnel. Minimum of two is required to run the report.

Create a report

Step 1 : Choose a website

Step 2 : Choose a date range

Step 3: Choose a window (minutes)

Step 4 : Choose your steps

Continue to add steps until your desired funnel conditions are completed. Boost supports specific URLs, events, and URL wildcards as steps.

• Specific URL : The user must reach this specific URL. (example: /)
• Event : The user must generate this specific event . (example: live-demo-button)
• URL wildcards : The user must reach any URL that meets the wildcard criteria. Only Ends with search is available. (example: /docs*)

Step 5: Run query and save

Click Run Query to see your results. In order to save your report, add a title and description and click Save. The report along with its parameters will be saved for future use.
